Fee for the retreat is US $975 which is payable by credit card (note: AAL current & former clients enjoy a 10% discount).  This covers your participation in workshop plus an additional private session with your workshop leader to discuss your workshop piece &/or general questions about writing; lectures, talks, panels & salons at the retreat; private sessions with Robin Hemley & /or Xu Xi to get feedback on an additional manuscript or your workshop manuscript & / or general questions about writing.

Your credit card will be charged in US$ and converted to your card's currency at the prevailing exchange rate.  The fee includes a daily workshop session, evening salons and informal exchanges with the authors and other writers at the retreat.  Workshop discussion of each manuscript will be for at least an hour. Manuscripts submitted for workshop will be a maximum of 5,000 words of either fiction or nonfiction; additional manuscripts for review by Robin &/or Xu will be a maximum of 2,500 words in any genre.
